State and Lok Sabha Elections end successfully, Uttarakhand state committee is formed
State and Lok Sabha Elections in Uttarakhand were held on Monday in Dehradun, and this marks the end of the election drive and the beginning of a new era of Youth Congress in Uttarakhand.
The final election day saw an unprecidented 98.56% polling, with 1,146 votes polled. Voters came in from all corners of the state.
Congratulations to the LROs, the election volunteers, and all the youth who made the memberships and elections possible, and finally congratulations to the newly elected Office Bearers of the various units in Uttarakhand. The drive saw an unprecidented 8 Lakh youngsters joining the IYC, and electing Office Bearers at various levels.
The journey has now begun for the newly elected units of IYC, to fulfil the aspirations of their Panchayats, their Assemblies, their Lok Sabhas, and finally, those of Uttarakhand...
Report Malpractice in IYC Elections
Foundation for Advanced Management of Elections (FAME), an independent NGO run by ex-Election Commissioners, to ensure that the IYC Election process is free and fair. The members of this organization are J.M. Lyngdoh, T.S. Krishnamurthy, N Gopalsamy and K.J. Rao. The FAME team is present on the ground to ensure free and fair elections in Uttarakhand. The team will also ensure that the candidates are not under any pressure from the local leaders. Any complaints regarding the fairness of the process may be sent directly to Mr. K.J.
